Today we're excited to anounce a usability upgrade to our JobSight™ research notification center. Based on user feedback, we've made it easier to identify which project and order a given JobSight™ notification is for.
If you're unfamiliar with JobSight™ notifications, here's a quick run-down: zlien's JobSight™ helps protect your lien rights by verifying critical project data, such as the legal property description and property owner. Sometimes JobSight™ info will differ from the info you provide when you enter a project.
Based on your JobSight™ preferences, you may recieve a notification requesting to resolve these conflicts. Here's what's changed!
The list of notifications now includes the additional project information so you can easily identify both the project and the order that has a JobSight™ notification. You'll now see what the conflict is (Project Type in the example above), which project (3535 Fort Worth Highway), and which order (238597). Clicking on "Resolve" pulls up an overlay that lets you choose the information you want to include in your order.
Link to the Project Page
The first thing you'll notice about our new notification overlay is that it's easier to identify which project this notification concerns. In addition, you can click on the project nickname (in blue) to open the Project Info page in a new tab. This means that you can switch back and forth between the notification and the Project Info page, allowing you to look into the project before resolving the notification.
We should also point out that we've expanded the commenting capabilities of the notifications. There, you'll be able to find additional information about the notification, direct from our JobSight team. You can also respond to the notification by adding your own comment.
Dismiss notification for unknown contact
One last upgrade has to do with "Missing" contacts. If the state statute requires a notice be sent to a specific contact, such as a General Contractor or Property Owner, but you don't know that contact, the system may send you a notification asking for that contact. In the past, there was no way to indicate that you didn't know the contact, and we recommended you adjust your JobSight™ Preferences. Now, you can also dismiss the notification without having to enter in contact details.
