Does your company do business under different company names like a  DBA or addresses such as branches?  If yes, you're like many folks who are doing business under multiple business names or addresses in zlien.  This is a great way to align your jobs and customers in your zlien account based on how you do business .  In this article, we'll help you uncover how to set up your account with multiple names and addresses.

How does this work in zlien

In zlien, you can add different names and/or addresses in your account as a "location." Depending on how you run your business, this could be just a change in address, perhaps for another branch or region, or it could be an entirely different entity operating under a different company name.

Additionally, this is more than how you organize your jobs in your account. You can use this type of segmentation to exchange documents under multiples business names or addresses

Where can I set this up in my account?

You can access this under your administrative settings if you are the main user on your account. You can also ask your zlien Account Manager for help!

If you don't have the option to add more locations in your account, let us help you get this customizable feature added to your account.  Just ask your Account Manager for more information on this and any other features that will help you get the job done!

It's up to you how you'd like to use this feature, and here are some tips below on how to set up your account with multiple location names and addresses:

  1. Location Name: This is for internal use only. Name this location using your own internal identifier.
  2. Alternative name: Adding a name here is completely optional. If you do business under different names and what that differentiated on your documents, then add an alternative name. If you're only changing the location address, you can leave this section blank.
