Understanding Mail Tracking in Your zlien Account

As part of zlien’s processing of your order, our team takes care of mailing your document to the selected recipients.  Once this has been done, your order status will be updated to “Notice Sent,” indicating that it’s on its way. If your document was sent by certified mail, we will also provide the tracking information for your mailings so you can keep an eye on their progress through USPS.

Filing a Lien in New York? Don't Forget the ATS!

At zlien, we strive to make the mechanics lien process as simple and as easy as possible. In most cases, this means that once you agree to our terms of use, we can act as an authorized agent and sign your documents on your behalf, speeding up the process.

In some states, however, we may need either your original signature or a separate authorization giving us this capability. The latter is the case in New York, which requires lien claimants to provide a document called an Authority to Sign (or ATS) if a third party is preparing the document on their behalf.

USPS Offices Will Be Closed for Veterans Day on Friday, November 10th

The United States Postal Service will be closed on Friday, November 10th in observance of Veterans Day. zlien will be open and have normal support and operation hours on this day. Subscribers will also still be able to log in to the platform and order documents and track deadlines as usual. While zlien will still be processing orders, we do expect mailing delays on documents sent in the next few business days. Mail processing times should return to the regular schedule by Monday, November 13th.

As our friends on the Gulf Coast of the United States prepare for Hurricane Harvey, please note that the filing and service of your documents may be affected.  County & Clerk Recorders in the South, especially in Texas, may be closed or have limited hours due to the weather. At this time, zlien Support & Operations should be available without disruption; however, there will be alerts if normal business hours are affected.

zlien Support & Operations will be suspended for Memorial Day 2017

In observance of the Memorial Day holiday, zlien Support and Operations will be suspended on Monday, May 29th.  Users can access their account at any time to add projects, file documents, and access existing project/ order information.  During the holiday, we will not be importing data, performing data entry, or researching and processing orders, and our phone/ chat support will be unavailable.  

Should you need assistance, please open a Support ticket by emailing mail@zlien.com or leaving a voicemail on our main Support line at (866) 720-5436.  We will resume to our standard operating hours on Tuesday, May 30th, at 8am CST and will check in with you accordingly.
